My husband, Gary, and I took the family (daughter and son) to Maine for summer vacation. One of the main highlights of our August trip was the temperature.

It was at least 10 degrees cooler than it was here in ATL, definitely long sleeve weather.
It was in the 70’s the entire time, with one day reaching 80.
The first day we went to Portland. We were told Gilbert’s Chowder House had some of the best chowder in town and they were right.

This is a stellar example of the voice of the people being heard and the wishes of the constituency being followed.
