Jalen Mattison and Amari Mattison have been safely located.

DeKalb County police officers found the children at 1 p.m. today.

The 3-year-old boy and 1-year-old female were last seen today at 1:58 a.m. after an unknown black male drove off with the children in the back seat of a car.

The children's mother reported that she was assisted by the suspect after her vehicle broke down on I-20 EB near Wesley Chapel Road.

The mother reported that as she made arrangements to have her vehicle towed from the roadway, the suspect drove away with her children.

The mother does not know the suspect.
