CONYERS, GA—The 44th Annual Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival presented by Robins Financial Credit Union takes place on Saturday and Sunday, March 22 and 23, at the Georgia International Horse Park.
“Spring it on!” –the 2025 them—encourages festival-goers to embrace the fun and excitement of the international festival that heralds the start of spring.
Attendees are encouraged to wear cherry blossom colors of pink and green during the festival. Those with the best outfits, decorated strollers and wagons, and other creative displays of the cherry blossom colors will have a chance to “get pinked” and be awarded a prize by judges roaming the festival plaza. The community is also invited to find “Treasures in the Trees” blossoms in both Olde Town Conyers and the Big Haynes Creek Nature Center leading up to the festival. Bring discovered blossoms to either the festival information booth or the Horse Park Administrative office to claim a prize!
The Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival attracts thousands of attendees each year and includes live entertainment, cultural performances, unique art and craft exhibits, multiple food courts, and super fun children’s area. The food courts offer international treats and favorite festival fares. The newly redesigned large, interactive children’s area provided by Rucker Family Amusements will be filled with inflatables, rides, pony rides and a variety of fun activities for the kids.
Festival mascot Sakura, the friendly pink dragon, returns to “Sakura’s Garden” where kids and adults alike can add their thoughts to the Cherry Blossom Wishing Tree. The garden also will host a storytime and educational discussions with the Rockdale County Master Gardeners. See live animal demonstrations by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and learn all about the art of the bonsai tree.
Puppet master Peter Hart returns to the festival, as well as main attractions including The Amazing Bubble Factory and Shatterproof Media green screen photo boot. See this year’s headlining bands on the Render Covington by Crescent Communities main stage, The Heart of Atlanta, Heart Tribute Band, as well as Thundergypsy.
