Family movie night to follow meeting
DULUTH, GA—Gwinnett County government is hosting its first Community Open House to get feedback from the public on how the Gwinnett Place Mall should be revitalized. The county purchased 39 acres of the nearly 40-year-old mall from Moonbeam Capital Investment Groups for $23 million in April. County officials say they want the community to share their vision of equity for the property.
The meeting will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, 6 p.m., at the mall property, 2100 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth.
A movie night will follow at sunset, along with free food and kids’ activities.
The movie will start around 8:15 p.m.
Registration is required to attend. Find the link here. Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Korean and Cantonese interpreters will be available.
