DEKALB COUNTY, GA— Commissioner Larry Johnson will be honored by radio show host Chili Most as an Unsung Hero for his commitment to preventing and reducing violence in our communities.
Johnson will receive the award during an one-on-one interview with Chili Most on WVFG 107.5 during the Chili Most Radio show, the No. 1 radio show in Uniontown, Alabama.
Johnson was chosen by Chili Most after he heard of Commissioner Johnson’s “Stop the Violence Prayer Vigil and Walk,” which began as part of his “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” campaign over five years ago. The campaign focuses on a comprehensive approach to crime prevention and immediately caught the attention of Chili Most whose radio show has a similar approach and theme of “Fight for Your Rights” in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
“We must continue to come together to speak against violence in our communities,” said Johnson. “I am honored to be reconized as an Unsung Hero for my efforts in violence prevention.”
