Rhonda Taylor invites first responders in House District 92 to “A Scoop 4 You” Sept.11

State Rep. Rhonda Taylor (D-Conyers) will host “A Scoop 4 You” event for first responders in House District 92 in recognition of First Responders Day on Monday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Bruster’s Ice Cream, 1172 Dogwood Drive, Conyers.

Taylor and others are sponsoring the free ice cream event  for first responders. First responders may appear in uniform or present their badge at this location to receive their free scoop.

In addition to this event, Taylor present resolutions in honor of First Responders Day for Conyers and Rockdale County to recognize and show appreciation for local first responders on Sept. 11, at 11 a.m., at the Old County Courthouse in Conyers.  Taylor also will present a resolution in honor of First Responders Day in the city of Stonecrest on Monday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. at Stonecrest City Hall.

During the 2023 legislative session, the Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 373 to recognize Sept. 11 as First Responders Appreciation Day in Georgia.

Taylor. “It is such a small way to say thank you to those who protect and serve us all over the state, and I am excited to share with the community our appreciation for all that our first responders do.”
