Advance Voting set June 10 -14
DECATUR,GA—The DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections (DeKalb BRE) certified the Primary Election results and announced details related to the upcoming runoff election, during its May 28 regularly scheduled meeting. Certified election results can be viewed at www.DeKalbVotes.com under the Election Results and Statistics tab.
The runoff election is June 18 and registered voters should cast ballots at their designated voting precincts. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Advance voting for the runoff election is June 10—14, Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. until 7 p.m,.

Based on certified election results, the following contests will head to the runoff election:
- Georgia Senate District 55 (Democratic): Iris Knight-Hamilton and Randal Mangham
- DeKalb Chief Executive Officer (Democratic): Lorraine Cochran-Johnson and Larry Johnson
- DeKalb County Commission District 4 (Democratic): Lance Hammonds and Chakira Johnson
- DeKalb County Board of Education District 5 (Non-Partisan): Donna Priest-Brown and Tiffany Tate Hogan
- DeKalb State Court Judge Division A-3 (Non-Partisan): Yolanda Mack and Dionne McGee
“We want to encourage our voters to stay engaged and excited as we approach the runoff election,” said DeKalb Voter Registration and Elections Executive Director Keisha Smith. “For those voting by absentee ballot, please make a plan to request your ballots today to account for any possible mail delays. We encourage absentee by mail voters to consider using the six drop box locations during the Advance Voting period or bring their completed ballots directly to the DeKalb VRE office before 7 p.m. on Election Day.”

Voter Alert: Runoff Election Precinct Changes
Due to renovations and availability, the DeKalb BRE announced temporary changes to six polling precincts. These changes only impact the runoff election schedule. All previous polling locations will be available during the November election.
