DEKALB COUNTY, GA— Registration is now open for the Changemaker Hub Youth Summit, an interactive event designed to bring together students, educators, and community leaders to reimagine the future of education.
The free summit will take place on March 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Clarkston Community Center (3701 College Ave., Clarkston). This dynamic event will empower students to reflect on their educational experiences, engage in meaningful cross-generational discussions, and collaborate on innovative ideas to shape a system that truly equips them for success in both their careers and communities.
Hosted by the Rockbridge Coalition in Stone Mountain, in partnership with the Georgia Alliance of Black School Educators, Achieve It Educational Services, DeKalb County School District, and World Savvy, the event promises to be both inspiring and impactful, organizers say.
Adults are encouraged to attend and share their insights and invaluable experiences in helping to shape what an exciting educational system.
In Spring 2024, World Savvy hosted Changemaker Hub events at 34 schools across Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania to discuss how to transform education to ensure students succeed in an ever-changing and complex world.
