STONECREST, GA— New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the 55th birthday of Dr. Jamal Bryant during a special “Tailor Made Sunday” worship experience on Sunday, May 17, at 9:30 a.m.
The celebratory service will honor Dr. Bryant’s leadership, visionary ministry, and unwavering commitment to faith and community. Members and visitors from across the region are expected to gather for a dynamic morning of worship, celebration, inspiration, and fellowship.
Designed to blend faith, fashion, fun, and gratitude, “Tailor Made Sunday” encourages attendees to show up with joy and appreciation for God’s grace. Worshippers are invited to wear their favorite suits, signature styles, and Sunday Best as the New Birth family celebrates both the man and the ministry that continue to inspire thousands across the nation.
“This celebration is about honoring a leader whose voice, vision, and authenticity continue to make a lasting impact inside and outside the church walls,” church leaders said in an announcement. “We are grateful for Dr. Bryant’s commitment to serving God’s people and advancing ministry in transformative ways.”
The worship experience will also feature a powerful message from guest preacher Bishop Rudy McKissick, whose dynamic ministry is expected to deliver an unforgettable word for attendees. Organizers say worshippers should prepare for a powerful move of God through worship, celebration, and spiritual encouragement.
As part of the celebration, attendees are encouraged to participate in “Dr. Bryant’s Birthday Look Book,” capturing memorable moments throughout the morning as the sanctuary and church lobby come alive with fellowship and celebration.
Church leaders emphasized that while the atmosphere will be festive and stylish, the heart of the experience remains rooted in worship and community.
New Birth is encouraging the community to arrive early, invite family and friends, and prepare for an uplifting worship experience as the church celebrates the gift of leadership God has given through Dr. Bryant.
The service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church located at 6400 Woodrow Rd in Stonecrest.
