Hot Corner Festival set in Athens, GA June 11-13

ATHENS, GA—The Hot Corner Festival returns to Athens June 11-13. For 25 years, the Hot Corner Association has celebrated the heart of Athens’ African-American business community through this vibrant block party held annually on the second weekend of June.

 Enjoy great food and live entertainment, while highlighting the rich history and cultural legacy of Athens’ Hot Corner, located at the intersection of Hull and Washington streets. 

 At the  main stage, a variety of live performances will be held throughout the three-day event. The festival stretches down Washington Street from Pulaski to Lumpkin streets. Along with live entertainment, attendees can shop from local vendors and enjoy BBQ, soul food and cool treats. Young guests can enjoy the “Kids Corner” which includes games, activities and a moon bounce.
