DeKalb County announces early voting, Election Day locations for Congressional District 13 Special Election Runoff

DEKALB COUNTY, GA– DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) is reminding voters in Congressional District 13 that early voting for the Special Election Runoff will begin Saturday, Aug. 15, and continue through Friday, Aug. 21. Election Day is Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Early Voting Details

One early voting location will be available during the seven-day early voting period. Voters may cast their ballots at the following location:

County Line-Ellenwood Library

4331 River Road

Ellenwood, GA 30294 

Early voting hours are: Saturday, Aug. 15: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, Aug. 16: Noon to 5 p.m.;

and Monday, Aug. 17, through Friday, Aug. 21: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day Polling Locations

On Election Day, Tuesday, Aug. 25, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eligible voters must

report to their assigned Election Day polling location.

Voter Reminders

• Voters are encouraged to confirm their eligibility, review their registration information and

verify their assigned Election Day polling location before heading to the polls. Because

this is a district-specific election, only eligible voters who reside within Congressional 

District 13 may participate.

• Voters should also allow sufficient time to cast their ballots and bring an acceptable form

of photo identification.
