CONYERS, GA—The 23rd Annual Christmas Tour of Homes will kick off with a candlelight tour on Dec. 4, 5 to 8 p.m. The event will be held on Dec. 5, 1 to 5 p.m. The tour will kick off at the new Rockdale County Public School administrative building, the historic site of the former Pine Street Elementary, located at 960 Pine Street. Parking also will be available at the Administrative Building.
This year’s Tour of Homes will feature “Southern Hospitality” mini sessions on ideas for entertaining during the holidays including charcuterie board assembly, food and wine suggestions, home decor trends, and floral arrangements for the season and more. The sessions will be conducted by the Tour of Homes committee leader JaNice Van Ness, along with committee members Peggy Lawrence and Tanya Cobb.

The Tour of Homes benefits the Rockdale Emergency Relief (RER), which provides assistance to Rockdale County citizens in need. RER’s primary services include a food bank, financial assistance during a hardship, holiday assistance, and a school break lunch program. The organization touches thousands of Rockdale residents throughout the year emphasizing housing stability for neighbors in need. RER partners with the Rotary Club of Rockdale and the Conyers Rotary Club to sponsor 150 children to provide Christmas gifts.
