Atlanta City Council member Keisha Waites to host Thanksgiving luncheon for APD, homeless families

ATLANTA—Post 3 At-Large Atlanta City Council member Keisha Sean Waites will host a Thanksgiving luncheon for the Atlanta Police Department and homeless families from on Thursday, Nov. 23, noon to 2 p.m., at Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave. S.W.

The event will provide a festive meal to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity while expressing gratitude to the Atlanta Police officers who are working to keep the city safe on Thanksgiving Day,Councilmember Waites stated in a news release. The Atlanta City Council is comprised of 12 districts and three at-large posts.
