DECATUR, GA– Today, the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners held its first meeting of the 2024 year and elected a new presiding officer and deputy presiding officer. The board elected Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson and Commissioner Robert Patrick to serve as the presiding officer and deputy presiding officer, respectively, for 2024. DECATUR,GA— Beginning Jan. 11 to Jan. 16, contractors working on behalf of DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management will conduct water main work on the Scott Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project Phase III. Construction activities associated with this work will require a temporary interruption of water service on Brown Place.
