Customers in the area may experience low to no water during the repair. GWINNETT COUNTY, GA—A 23-year-old woman has been charged with the death of her child who was found with multiple stab wounds in an apartment fire. The child has been identified as 6-year-old Jayveon Pruitt, Gwinnett County Police said in a news release today, Oct. 24. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced that Georgia was awarded $83 million in funding for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). It’s part of $3.7 billion being released nationwide to help lower heating costs for American families this winter. ATLANTA – The MARTA Police Department (MPD) is offering another opportunity for patrons who own Kia and Hyundai vehicles to receive a steering wheel lock. Through a partnership with car manufacturers Kia and Hyundai, MARTA received 640 steering wheel locks to help deter and prevent thefts after a spike in incidents involving those vehicles.
