STONECREST, GA—The City of Stonecrest will accept applications for tis residential and business assistance programs now though Monday, May 22. The City Council approved the deadline extension at its April 10 work session.
This extension will provide more time for residents and small businesses to review and complete the application process. Individuals who already applied for the support programs do not need to submit new applications.
These support programs are funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which is designed to assist Stonecrest residents and small business owners who experienced a financial hardship during the pandemic.
“The City is committed to supporting residents and small businesses throughout Stonecrest,” said Mayor Jazzmin Cobble. “We encourage everyone to spread the word about these support programs and the deadline extension. Together, we will provide a brighter future for our residents and the businesses who invest in our community.”
Applications and eligibility requirements are available on the City’s website at www.stonecrestga.gov, under the Stonecrest Forward category. Applicants may also pick up paper copies of the applications at Stonecrest City Hall, which is located at 3120 Stonecrest BLVD., Suite 190, Stonecrest, GA 30038. City officials said that all applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
