Closure of all Georgia Tax Commissioner’s Offices and DMV locations due to inclement weather

ATLANTA–Due to inclement weather conditions, all Tax Commissioner’s offices, including all DMV offices, will be closed on Monday, January 26,2026.

This closure is in response to guidance from County Emergency Management, which is urging residents to stay off the roads for safety reasons.

While in-person services will be unavailable, online services will remain accessible during the closure. Customers are encouraged to utilize online options for transactions and information.

Normal operations are expected to resume once conditions improve and it is safe to do so. Updates will be provided as needed.

Digital Learning Day for Gwinnett County students on Jan. 25

Due to the potential for severe weather, Monday, Jan. 26, will be a Digital Learning Day in Gwinnett County Public Schools. All school buildings will be closed, with no in-person activities or meal services.

Our priority is the safety and well-being of students, families, and staff. Students will participate in learning remotely, as they are able. Schools will work with families to provide appropriate support. Staff are encouraged to review their GCPS email for specific expectations and next steps.

We will continue monitoring weather conditions and will share updates about Tuesday as soon as possible.
