DEKALB COUNTY, GA– On Tuesday, Oct.25, the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners will resume in-person meetings at 9 a.m. Both regular business and committee meetings will be held at the Manuel J. Maloof Auditorium Center, located at 1300 Commerce Dr., Decatur.
Board of Commissioners’ Presiding OfficerRobert Patrick made the announcement at last week’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
“As we transition back to in-person meetings, this is a wonderful opportunity to increase our face-to-face engagement with county residents,” Commissioner Patrick said.
Seating capacity in the auditorium will be limited to 60-70 people. Similar to pre-pandemic rules, members of the public wishing to address the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners will fill out a comment card before speaking. Once a comment card is received, those wishing to speak will be directed to microphones located at the left and right of the auditorium.
There will be limited street parking around the Maloof building and in the Trinity Parking Garage located at the intersection of Commerce Drive and W Trinity Place.
Attendees are encouraged to wear face masks, but not required.
The meeting will be available for the public to view remotely via DCTV’s webpage, DCTV Home Page | DeKalb County GA or on cable channel 23.
