PINE LAKE, GA—The City of Pine Lake will host its annual Pine Lake Fest, a two-day festival on the shores of picturesque Pine Lake, GA, DeKalb County’s smallest city.
Now in its 23rd year, the festival will take place on Oct. 11 and Oct.12 and will feature the best that Pine Lake has to offer by way of artists and crafters, live music, health and wellness vendors, food trucks and family fun.
There will be chalk art and sand sculpture contests at the city’s beach with prizes, a Pet Parade, a Kids’ Carnival with fall-themed crafts, street performers, and Paddlepalooza—LakeFest’s exciting regatta with a floating parade and boat races on the lake.
The city’s lake is surrounded by a park with picnic spots, a playground, and wetlands with walking trails.
Musical highlights include a Flash Mob, a Marching Band, and music-all-day-long with a dozen musicians and bands on the lakeside Festival Stage. Featured bands include the Venus Kings and the Mar-Tans at Saturday and Sunday nights’ closing parties.
Explore Pine Lake, also known as “Arts’ Natural Habitat.” Admission and parking are free. Park on Rockbridge Road near the entrance to the city and take a free shuttle to lakefront.Plan to watch, or pre-register your non-motorized watercraft to compete in a sprint and a marathon.
