DEKALB COUNTY, GA— DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson,, in partnership with Center Helping Obesity in Children End Successfully (C.H.O.I.C.E.S.), will hosta Mobile Food Pantry to combat hunger and food insecurity.
The drive-through food pantry will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church Gresham, 2394 Gresham Rd. SE, Atlanta.
The Mobile Food Pantry is free and open to the public. Registration is highly encouraged and available here.
“Since the pandemic began, we have not stopped making sure that families have food to eat,” said Commissioner Larry Johnson. “With the holiday season around the corner, we will continue to make sure that we are reducing as many burdens on families as possible and that includes providing food.”
The attendees will receive fresh produce and other grocery items while supplies last.
