DEKALB COUNTY, GA–DeKalb County government will host the 8th Annual Reverse Trade Show & Procurement Summit on March 27, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center in Decatur.
The annual event, hosted by the DeKalb County Purchasing and Contracting Department in partnership with WorkSource DeKalb, is designed to connect businesses with county government departments and other industry professionals in a unique reverse trade show format. Instead of vendors approaching buyers, government representatives are stationed at booths while business owners walk the floor, engaging directly with decision-makers. This format allows businesses to gain insights, build relationships, and learn about upcoming procurement opportunities.
The event also includes informative learning sessions covering key business advancement strategies, best practices for securing government contracts, and updates on economic development projects in DeKalb County.
The Purchasing and Contracting Department utilizes a competitive bidding process to award contracts based on a combination of factors most advantageous to DeKalb County. Vendors and suppliers looking to do business with the county should ensure they are properly registered and familiar with the county’s procurement processes. The department now utilizes CV360 to manage vendor relationships electronically.
Vendors should visit the CV360 page to complete registration, manage accounts, and access invoicing and payment information.
DeKalb County is investing in economic growth, transit development, public safety initiatives, and responsible governance, all of which create prime opportunities for businesses to thrive. Whether you’re a contractor, supplier, or service provider, this is your chance to position yourself as a key player in DeKalb’s progress.
