DECATUR, GA—A DeKalb County grand jury has indicted a doctor who ran a Doraville acupuncture practice on multiple sexual assault charges on seven women.
Dr. Meu Keon Kim, 70, of Norcrossis facing four counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery (felony) and seven counts of Sexual Battery (misdemeanor and nine counts of Sexual Battery.
The indictments filed on April 29 are connected to seven victims.
According to the preliminary investigation, two female patients reported that Dr. Kim touched them inappropriately during their treatment sessions.
Doraville Police arrested Dr. Kim on Feb. 11, and filed additional charges against Kim in March after more alleged victims came forward.
Kim remains in the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
Kim is scheduled for an arraignment on the charges against him on July 25, 2025.
The investigation into Defendant Kim remains active and ongoing. The DA’s Office believes there could be additional victims who have not yet been identified. Anyone who believes they were a victim or has information about the case should call the DA’s Office tip line at 404-371-2444.
“Doctors take an oath to act in the best interests of their patients and to do them no harm, however Dr. Kim is accused of doing the exact opposite,” said District Attorney Sherry Boston. “We hope anyone who felt violated while in his care will come forward so that we can hold him accountable for his alleged actions.”
