DECATUR, GA—The DeKalb County Board of Health’s Doraville MARTA station vaccination site, located at 6000 New Peachtree Road, in Doraville, will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The closure is necessary to provide additional staffing resources to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for the event at The Mall at Stonecrest, taking place from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The DeKalb County Board of Health, along with DeKalb County Government, DeKalb Fire Rescue, Emory Healthcare and MedCura Health are partnering for this event.
Everyone will have a choice of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines. Additionally, those who are eligible and have completed their primary Pfizer vaccine series can receive a booster shot at this event. Booster shots have not been approved at this time for those who received the Johnson & Johnson or Moderna vaccine.
COVID-19 vaccinations are free. However, if you have insurance, we ask that you please bring your insurance information and photo ID with you. An administration fee may be applied for Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. You will not receive a bill from the DeKalb County Board of Health or your insurance company for the administration fee. Not having insurance will not prevent you from getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Regular hours for the Doraville MARTA vaccination site are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
