DeKalb County District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson invites all interested residents to the Homeowners Association Boot Camp on Saturday, June 25, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur.

Sponsored by District 3 and the Georgia HOA Alliance, the program is geared to address today’s top issues facing homeowners and homeowner associations, including presentations of financial management practices, legalities of HOA management, the differences between code enforcement violations and neighborhood covenants, builder turnovers to homeowner associations and other topics. There will be a kid zone featuring activities for children as well.

“This HOA Boot Camp will give active and engaged residents the tools that they need to address key quality of life issues at the most grassroots level,” said Johnson. “I hope all neighborhoods will send at least one representative to this important event.”
