Georgia Sen. Halpern, Gov. Kemp to celebrate HBCU Heritage Day March 16

ATLANTA–Sen. Sonya Halpern (D – Atlanta), in partnership with Gov. Brian Kemp, will host Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Heritage Day at the Georgia State Capitol on Tuesday, March 16, at 2:30 p.m.

Ten Historically Black Colleges and Universities will be honored for their contributions to the state and the nation during the in-person event. ­
