ATLANTA – MARTA and its public art program, Artbound, will host Valentine’s Day customer appreciation events to foster connections, celebrate diversity, and enhance the transit system’s customer experience
The highlight will be the inaugural MARTA Love Cam. Inspired by the kiss cam tradition at sporting events, the Love Cam is an opportunity for customers to capture images of love, friendship, kindness, and companionship while on their MARTA journey and submit those to be featured on MARTA’s social media channels on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Riders can start submitting pics on Monday, Feb. 12 and tag @MARTAtransit to be featured.
Riders can also snap a picture with MARTA’s Valentine’s Day social media frame at rail stations on Feb. 12 and 13. Look for MARTA cupids to use the frame and get a Valentine’s Day treat.
MARTA has also created a Valentine’s Day Spotify playlist featuring love songs, along with the current playlist celebrating Black History Month with a curated selection of music honoring Black artists and culture. Listen here.
MARTA’s public art program, Artbound, presents a Valentine’s Day edition of Concert on the Car. Renowned violinist Tracy Woodard will serenade passengers aboard the Atlanta Streetcar on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 4 to 6 p.m., starting at the Dobbs Plaza stop.
