The NFL star will host his inaugural Devonte Wyatt Community Resource Day on Saturday, July 12, from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Towers High School in Decatur.
The event is open to students and families from the Towers cluster and surrounding Glenwood neighborhoods.
Along with free school supplies, the event will include:
- Food
- Games
- Local resource vendors and community services
“I was blessed with the opportunity to grow up and represent my community, Towers High School, and Glenwood on the highest level,” said Wyatt. “It’s always important to give back. This Community Day is just a small token of my appreciation for the place that shaped me.”
Wyatt, a 2017 graduate of Towers High School, was a defensive anchor at the University of Georgia, where he played a key role in the Bulldogs’ historic 2021 National Championship victory. He was a Region 5-3A First Team selection as a senior at Towers.
Wyatt was selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers and is now entering his fourth season with the Packers.
