No changes to DeKalb County Xmas, New Year’s residential sanitation schedule

DECATUR-In observance of Christmas Day on Friday, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day on Friday, Jan. 1, sanitation service for residential customers will be based on a normal collection schedule. There will be no change to the sanitation collection service schedule.

The North Transfer Station, Central Transfer Station, Seminole Road Landfill and Customer Care call center will be closed on Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, reopening on Monday, Dec. 28, and Monday, Jan. 4, respectively, during normal operating hours.
