ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA– Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) will celebrate the return of Parent Academy for its 23rd semester on Saturday, March 15. The classes and workshops will be held 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Rockdale Career Academy,1064 Culpepper Drive, Conyers.
The free, half-day event for parents, tweens and teens offers free classes and resources to help families find success. To register, visit www.rockdaleschools.org/parentacademy.
This year’s theme is “Thrive in 2025!” with workshops focusing on physical, financial, mental, wellness as well as literacy. The event features student performances, and local community vendors as well as student entrepreneurs.
Attendees attend two breakout sessions and can choose from dozens of classes. There are also classes available for Spanish-speaking parents and for parents of students with disabilities.
Lunch is provided at no cost. Childcare for children ages 3-10 is available for those who pre-register. The event includes door prizes, a vendor marketplace, and many community resources.
