ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—The Rockdale County Clerk of Superior and State Courts and the Conyers-Rockdale Library are delighted to announce the 2023 Law Library Speaker Series.
The Law Library Speaker Series is a sequence of presentations by legal experts who touch on topics where citizens have expressed a growing concern.
Some previous presenters and topics were Tax Sales with Rockdale County Tax Commissioner Tisa Smart-Washington, Wills and Trusts, Real Estate, Simple Divorce, and Adoption.
The first event for 2023 will be held on Feb. 18, 10:30 a.m. until noon, at the Conyers-Rockdale Library, 864 Green St. SW., Conyers. The guest speaker, Attorney William Todd Jr., will discuss Traffic Law (citations).
The February presentation is the first of four, which are all free to attend. The other sessions scheduled are: Saturday, March 18, Know Your Rights- Judge Gary Washington
Saturday, April 15, Mental Health – Attorney Justin Kenne
Saturday, May 20, Guardianship –Attorney Trichelle Simmons.
