ROCKDALE COUTY, GA – The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office announced Jan. 9 that Deputy Verdell and Deputy have been nominated for a 2024 RISE Award. The Axon wards honor first responders who go above and beyond the call of duty.
Community members, friends and family may each vote once per day until Jan. 19, 2024, by clicking on the link below. The top 10 finalists with the most votes in each category will then be reviewed by a panel of judges. Winners will receive an all-expenses paid trip with a guest to Axon Week (Miami, April 22-26), a $1,000 valued gift, and an Axon Roadshow celebration.
