Rockdale County government, courthouse closed Wednesday, Jan. 22

ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA— Due to road conditions caused by the winter weather, all Rockdale County offices and the Rockdale County Courthouse will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 22, and will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 23 at the regular hours.

Rockdale Clerk of Superior and State Court Janice Morris received the court order from Chief Judge Nancy Bills today mandating the courthouse closure.

During the closure, the Court suspends, tolls, extends, and otherwise grants relief from all deadlines or other time schedules or filing requirements imposed by otherwise applicable statutes, rules, regulations, or court orders, whether in civil or criminal cases or administrative matters, the order states in part.
