ROCKDALE, GA—Phillipia Williams and The Phixx will headline this weekend’s free outdoor concert at Costley Mill Park.
The Rockdale County Division of Parks and Recreation is bringing back its Summer Concert Series for 2021, which will feature four Sunday concerts between July and October.
All concerts will feature food vendors Event goers should bring their own lawn chairs. Admission is free. The concerts will take place at the following times and locations and will feature the following artists:
- Sunday, July 25, 4 to 6 p.m., Costley Mill Park, 2599 Salem Church Road, Conyers, GA 30013 – Phillipia Williams and The Phixx
- Sunday, Aug. 29from 4 to 6 p.m. at Johnson Park, 1781 Ebenezer Road, Conyers,
– Unknown Lyric
- Sunday, Sept. 26from 4 to 6 p.m., Costley Mill Park, 2599 Salem Church Road, Conyers – Gritz and Jelly Butter
- Sunday, Oct. 24, 4 to 6 p.m., Costley Mill Park, 2599 Salem Church Road, Conyers – The Corey Brown Band
Parks and Recreation will also host two other events prior to the first two concerts within the series:
- Reveal of the Costley Mill Event Center at Costley Mill Park – Sunday, July 25,2 to 4 p.m., Costley Mill Park, 2599 Salem Church Road, Conyers
- Reveal of Rockdale’s natatorium expansion, and other Improvements at Johnson Park Recreation Center on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2 to 4 p.m. at Johnson Park, 1781 Ebenezer Road, Conyers
