Camp descriptions are as follows:
(Grade 2) Even Mad Scientists keep Sketchbooks!: In this class, you will create your own visual science journal. The journal will be used to document your science experiences creating slimy concoctions and various fun science experiments in the lab. Your journal will even accompany you as a field journal which you will use while exploring the local flora and fauna around RCA.
(Grade 3) Rocking with Robots: Join us for a great time learning to program various robots! You might even get to see what it’s like to be a robot!
(Grades 4-5) Create, Invent and Build: Want to learn how build and create houses, explore the earth by digging into it, or build a self-powered car? These projects are meant to develop problem solving and solution finding skills. Students will foster cooperation skills by working in teams to create these amazing projects. Do you have what it takes to create, invent, and build?
(Grades 6-8) Master Chef, Jr. Dessert Edition: Ever wondered what it would be like to run your own bakery? Here’s your chance! Students will spend each day learning new cooking techniques and making original dessert creations. From cookies to cupcakes, students will showcase their culinary skills in daily “sweet treat” competitions. Do you have what it takes to be a “Master Chef”?
