Rockdale sets National Preparedness Day event

The Rockdale Emergency Management will host National Preparedness Day on Saturday, Sept. 30, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rockdale Career Academy, 1064 Culpepper Drive S.W., Conyers.

The event is being held to provide the citizens of Rockdale County information of how, what, and when to prepare in the case of a natural, man-made, or technological disaster. Presentations and demonstrations will be conducted by a wide range of entities and are scheduled throughout the day. Lunch will be provided for the first 100 registered participants.
