Seniors receive second Moderna vaccine at Lou Walker Senior Center, Feb. 10, 2021
STONECREST, GA–Hundreds of seniors on Feb. 10 received their second dose of the Moderna vaccine as Dr. Sandra Ford, Director of DeKalb County’s Board of Health, supervised the event at the Lou Walker Senior Center in DeKalb County. Volunteer clinicians from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority partnered with the DeKalb Board of Health to administer the shots. OCG News Publisher Glenn L. Morgan photographed and video recorded the event and got his vaccine: “It’s pretty painless,” Morgan said. There were volunteers on hand to announced the appointments and oversee the operation from beginning to the end.
