STONECREST, GA—Stonecrest Fest, in its 4th Year, will return on Saturday, Oct. 8, noon to 8 p.m., after a two-year hiatus as result of the COVID-19 health pandemic.
The outdoor festival will be held in the parking lot of the Privi complex( former Sears building) at The Mall at Stonecrest, 8020 Mall Parkway.
The festival was postponed last weekend due to inclement weather forecast as a result of Hurricane Ian, which forced many evacuees from Florida to Georgia.
Charlotte Cain, CEO and Founder of the Stonecrest Fest, said she is exciting about the return of the festival, which promises to be a fun event for the community and visitors.
The festival boasts a day of music, arts, crafts, entertainment, live performances, a youth talent show, car and bike show and an interactive Drone Soccer Exhibition. STREETZ 94.5FM will be at Stonecrest Fest with a live remote.
The First Georgia Drone Soccer League is a partner of US Drone Soccer, and together they are launching the first Drone Soccer Tournament Exhibition at the Stonecrest Fest on Saturday, beginning at 12:30 p.m.. Attendees are asked to bring their lawn chairs and witness the competition, as encouragement for the middle school and high school students with Aviation Dreams.

Forsyth Flyers – from Forsyth County Georgia
Georgia Aeros – from Conyers and Atlanta, GA
Leaders of Excellence from Birmingham, Alabama
Sky Rams – from (Arabia Mountain High School), Stonecrest, GA
Drone Soccer is a STEM program that touches on the various aspects of Aviation, Engineering, Science and more.
Several pre-events are scheduled Friday, Oct. 7, including a Chalk Art Walk, Sunset Stroll and Tour of Nature and Music at Davidson-Arabia Mountain.
Car and Bike Show sponsor, ROCK CITY CYCLES, will be giving a festival goer a chance to win a 125cc Go Cart.
