The MARTA board of directors is comprised of 13 members representing Clayton, DeKalb, and Fulton counties and the city of Atlanta, as well as two ex-officio members from the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. The policy-setting board meets monthly to address challenges and opportunities facing the authority, while exploring ways to innovate and expand the system.

These New Members will be replacing other DeKalb Representatives that did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF DEKALB’S CITIZENS !!!
i WILL LET YOU KNOW SOON IF THESE ARE ANY BETTER ???
It would have been good if we knew what their position and views on transit and their vision for MARTA is beforehand It does us no good to find out later. This process of appointment shows you that citizens have no role in the selection of MARTA board members or any other appointments. We do not get a chance to interview our shareholder representatives on the MARTA authority or the ATL link transit.
