Rising ninth graders at Rockdale, Heritage and Salem high schools have Open House on Thursday, July 21, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Friday, July 22
RCPS Student Registration Temporary Location

RCPS Student Registration will be located at 1143 West Avenue until Friday, July 22, noon. To accommodate increased volume, the Student Registration Office will temporarily move to 1400 Parker Road July 25-August 4, M-F, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Friday, August 5, 8 a.m. – noon. Open House on Tuesday, July 26 for RCPS high schools grades 10-12, Open Campus, and Alpha Academy 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Open House for Rockdale Career Academy 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Thursday, July 28
First Day of School for RCPS

Rockdale County Public Schools’ first day of school for the 2016-17 school year is Thursday, July 28. The elementary school instructional day is  7:35 a.m. – 2:05 p.m. The high school instructional day is 8:05 a.m. – 3:05 p.m. The middle school instructional day is 8:45 a.m. – 3:55 p.m.
