City of Conyers “Taste of Spring” Festival set for May 6

CONYERS, GA–Flowers are blooming, a warm breeze is blowing and spring is in the air. The city of Conyers is ready to host its Taste of Spring Festival on Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Main Street.  Admission is free.

Browse and shop among arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment on the Depot Stage and food vendors at the Taste of Spring in Olde Town.

The Children’s Business Fair, presented by High Achievers Education Center, will take place at the Randal S. Mills City Center Park (Olde Town Pavilion), 949 S. Main St. Meet Kidpreneurs  ages 5-17 and shop their products .

About Ashley Carson: Ashley Carson is a Georgia born and Georgia raised songbird. At 14 years old, she received her              first guitar and within three years recorded her first EP, Daybreak. Her music is real and personal, and her live performances

About East & Ward: Comprised of Doug Easterly (“Rumours ATL” and “Rockforce”) and Steve Ward (“Shaky Jane/Three Way Street”), this duo entertains with a set full of tributes to the best 70s and 80s singer songwriters.

Shine up your ride and check out the information below to show your car or motorcycle on May 6:

• Registration will be the day of the show from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Categories: Awards for Top 25 cars and bikes; also, there will be a Best of Show
• Entry fee: $25 for cars and $20 for motorcycles
• Judging will take place between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
