DEKALB COUNTY, GA–The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit has made an arrest in a fatal shooting that occurred at a rooming house July 29, 2024.
Lithonia resident Jeremiah Curtis, 20, who was wanted by authorities, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
According to the arrest warrant, an altercation between Curtis, Bryson Adeola and other unnamed persons at a rooming house on Post Road Pass in Stone Mountain, GA led to the shooting in which Curtis allegedly open fire and shot Adeola multiple times.
Investigators located and arrested Curtis this week without incident in Decatur and transported him to the DeKalb County Jail, where he was booked on a charge of Felony Murder.
