LITHONIA, GA – A new wellness sanctuary dedicated to holistic skin care has opened its doors in downtown Lithonia, bringing advanced, natural skin treatments to the community. The Corrective Skin Care & Wellness Sanctuary, located at 6868 Main Street, offers a range of services for individuals seeking radiant, healthy skin.
CEO and owner Jacynth Hall celebrated the grand opening on November 2 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by over three dozen friends, family members, and dignitaries from across metro Atlanta and beyond.
Lithonia Mayor Shameka Reynolds, who assisted with the ribbon-cutting, expressed her enthusiasm for the new skin care sanctuary, particularly as a place for healing and wellness. As a cancer survivor, Reynolds voiced her support, saying she is personally looking forward to visiting regularly.
“I’m grateful for this day. I’m grateful that you’re here. The city of Lithonia needs you here,” said Reynolds, who was among a host of special guest speakers.
During the celebration, three white doves were released, symbolizing new beginnings, harmony, and prosperity. Hall’s sister-in-law, Janice Barrett, and her assistant, Raven Charity, helped with the release, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the event.
Guests also enjoyed traditional Jamaican cuisine in honor of Hall’s heritage and were invited to tour the facility , getting a glimpse of its unique amenities firsthand. Highlights included a luxury massage chair, foot reflexology massager, a sauna with color therapy, a serene meditation suite, and a hot stone gem therapy mat featuring five different treatments available using jade, amethyst, or tourmaline.
Corrective Skin Care & Wellness Sanctuary offers customized holistic treatments targeting various skin conditions, such as acne, razor bumps, eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin. Hall emphasized the sanctuary’s philosophy, focusing on treatments that promote the skin’s natural renewal process while enhancing moisture, hydration, firmness, and elasticity.
Signature treatments include an anti-aging hand therapy, fresh milk moisturizing mask, herbal enzyme peel, men’s facial treatments, and microdermabrasion treatments.
“Achieving dramatic skin clarity and radiance is possible with our comprehensive program,” said Hall. “Our treatments turn the dream of beautiful, healthy skin into reality in a remarkably short time. It’s possible to achieve visible results in a week.”
Hall has over 25 years of experience in the skincare industry. She founded Corrective Skin Care in 1992 in Philadelphia, where she began her career after completing formal training at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute. Driven by her commitment to excellence, she pursued advanced studies at the International Dermal Institute in Virginia and in Atlanta, where Corrective Skin Care has expanded to meet the needs of its growing clientele.
Hall is certified in effective acne treatments, pigmentation disorders, and advanced skin analysis, and is a member of the American Society of Esthetic Medicine.
Hall said she has shared her expertise on CBS, various radio stations, and has been featured in multiple newspaper articles. As a trusted industry expert, she is the designated skincare instructor for the annual Natural Hair and Healthy Lifestyle event in Atlanta.
Hall emphasizes the sanctuary’s philosophy of treating the skin from within, recognizing that “the skin is a mirror of what is going on internally.”
The wellness sanctuary’s offerings go beyond skin treatments, incorporating dermal analysis, customized skincare systems, therapeutic clinical treatments, and lifestyle and nutritional counseling. With an emphasis on natural remedies and probiotics, the sanctuary’s holistic approach reduces the need for prescription antibiotics and other medications with potential side effects, Hall said.
“Corrective Skin Care focuses on the ‘Total Self,’ not just skin issues,” said Hall. “Our intensive skin-perfecting program combines topical cleansers, lotions, serums, and homeopathic supplements to restore balance and health.”
Hall’s facility caters to all skin types, offering targeted solutions for concerns such as sebaceous cysts, dry scalp, and other skin sensitivities. Hall said that each client’s skin care plan is customized to ensure optimal results and a natural path to beauty.
