ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA—Rockdale County Elections Supervisor Cynthia Willingham has released the sample ballots and key information for citizens in the City of Conyers and Rockdale County to prepare for upcoming elections.
The City of Conyers will have elections for the office of mayor, and City Council District 2 and District 3 seats. Only registered voters in each district will be eligible to cast ballots for the Nov. 4 municipal elections. City voters’ ballots also will include the statewide Public Service Commission(PSC) Districts 2 and 3 races. There are 12,356 eligible city voters, Willingham stated. City elections are decided by plurality. There is no runoff, unless there is a tie.
Registered voters who live in Rockdale County will only cast ballots for the statewide PSC races.
“As a reminder, only City residents can vote in City races, but every registered voter in Rockdale County is eligible to vote for the PSC races,” Willingham said. There are 69,493 voters countywide, she said.
The sample ballot below is for the City of Conyers Voters only. There are only two voting precincts inside the City: Conyers Precinct and Olde Town Precinct. Voters should check their precinct card or visit the My Voter Page (MVP) to confirm their precinct (scan the QR code on the sample ballot).
