Gwinnett County: $900K in counterfeit designer merchandise leads to arrest of 2 Lawrenceville women

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA– Gwinnett County Police Vice Unit investigators seized more than $900,000 worth of counterfeit designer merchandise following an investigation into the sale of fake luxury items.

The investigation began after officers received a citizen’s complaint regarding counterfeit designer merchandise being sold online and in person. Investigators later identified Quentessa Gordon and Tameka Gordon as suspects connected to the operation and obtained a search warrant for a residence tied to the investigation.

On May 13, investigators executed the search warrant at the residence in Lawrenceville. During the search, officers recovered a large quantity of counterfeit designer merchandise from inside the home and a vehicle associated with the investigation. Approximately 60 grams of marijuana and a firearm were also recovered during the search. The total estimated value of the counterfeit merchandise seized was more than $900,000.

Tameka Gordon and Quentessa Gordon were both arrested in connection with the investigation. 

Tameka Gordon was charged with OCGA 10-1-454(c), Sell Goods with Forged, Counterfeit Trademarks, Service Marks, Copyrighted Designs – Felony, OCGA 16-13-30(j)(1), VGCSA Possession of Marijuana More Than 1 Ounce, OCGA 16-11-106, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, and multiple traffic-related charges. 

Quentessa Gordon was charged with OCGA 10-1-454(c), Sell Goods with Forged, Counterfeit Trademarks, Service Marks, Copyrighted Designs – Felony, along with a traffic-related charge.
