ROCKDALE COUNTY, GA – Atlanta rapper Trouble was fatally shot early Sunday in Rockdale County, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said this afternoon.
Investigators said deputies responded to a shooting around 3:20 a.m. today and found a black male lying on the ground at the Lake St. James Apartment complex, 50 St. James Drive, Conyers. The man was identified as Mariel Orr, the 34-year-old Atlanta rapper.
Trouble’s claim to fame is the song, “Bussin,'”which has more than 2.7 million views on YouTube. He released his major-label debut Edgewood, in March 2018. The project featured appearances by Drake, The Weeknd, Quavo, Fetty Wap, Low Down Dirty Black, and others.
Trouble was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, investigators said.
No arrests have been made, however, arrest warrants have been obtained for a suspect, Jamichael Jones, 33, from Atlanta, Georgia for murder.
