DECATUR, GA – The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) will host a Job Fair Friday, March 22, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.,  at the Central Office, 3408 Covington Highway, Decatur.  DJJ is looking to hire Juvenile correctional officers, counselors, teachers, and food service workers with on-the-spot contingent officers. GWINNETT COUNTY, GA— Detectives are asking the public’s help in locating Jaylen Anderson, 23, of Fairburn, GA, who is wanted in connection with real estate fraud. In January 2023, two victims contacted Gwinnett County Police and reported being scammed for over $100,000 each. In both incidents, the victims were led to believe they were purchasing property in Ellenwood, Georgia, from a Facebook Marketplace ad. DEKALB COUNTY, GA—The DeKalb County Board of Elections and Registration certified the March 12 Presidential Preference Primary on Monday, March 18  reporting that 56,358 voters (11.33 percent) cast their ballots. DeKalb has 497,621 registered voters, according to the board. In addition to certifying the results, the board also unanimously voted to fill the County Commission District 3 and Super Commission District 7 seats through a special election to be held on Nov. 5, 2024.
