GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County will begin accepting applications for its Nonprofit Capacity Building Grant on Thursday, Aug. 1. The grant program provides financial assistance to nonprofits negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. SBA to open Business Recovery Center to assist applicants  ATLANTA) – Businesses affected by the water main breaks, which occurred from May 31 to June 6,2024, in 11 Georgia counties, may now apply for low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). GWINNETT COUNTY, GA– The Gwinnett Police Department is investigating the death of a pregnant 16-year-old girl whose body was found in a wooded area on July 15 after her family tracked her cell phone. Jesus Monroy, the ex-boyfriend of Mia Campos, was arrested today, July 17, in connection with her death.  He has been charged with giving false statements to a police officer. The investigation is still active. GWINNETT COUNTY—The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday(July 16) adopted the same general fund millage rate as last year, 6.95 mills.
