The meeting will provide updates concerning the strategic plan, including program phases, completed and ongoing initiatives, statsand plans for the future of Animal Services. GWINNETT COUNTY, GA– The Gwinnett County Police Department is working to identify a white male who entered a Home Depot, took a leaf blower, and left without paying in a dark blue passenger car. On April 20, a white male entered the Home Depot at 2120 Hamilton Creek Parkway. He put an RYOBI 18V HP Brushless Blower in a shopping cart valued at $159 and left the hardware store without paying. STONECREST, GA—The City of Stonecrest will accept applications for tis residential and business assistance programs now though Monday, May 22. The City Council approved the deadline extension at its April 10 work session. This extension will provide more time for residents and small businesses to review and complete the application process. DEKALB COUNTY, GA – The DeKalb County School Board voted today (April 19) to hire Dr. Devon Horton as the next superintendent of the DeKalb County School District.The board confirmed the selection of Horton, who was the board’s sole finalist, as the new superintendent in a 6-1 vote.
