ATLANTA—Uninsured women who have not had a mammogram in a year or more can get one at no cost, if they meet certain criteria. Eligible women must be 40 to 60 years old and meet income requirements. The YWCA of Greater Atlanta Health and Wellness program is offering the screenings along with partners Sisters By Choice Mobile Mammography, Grady Cancer Center of Excellence, and Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital. DECATUR, GA– Briarcliff Way NE, between Clifton Road NE and Old Briarcliff Road NE, will be closed to through-traffic from midnight to 4 a.m., Saturday, May 22, to facilitate the filming of “Emergency” in Decatur. The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has opened registration for the “Camp Superstars” program. Camp Superstars, a summer day camp for ages 5-15, runs June 14 to July 30, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The camp fee is $66 per week, and breakfast and lunch are provided. Park staff will meet campers outside all recreation centers for curbside drop-off and pickup. Parents will not be allowed to enter the facility during operating hours. DeKalb County Extension announces the seventh season of Fresh on DeK, DeKalb County’s Mobile Farmers Market, travelling throughout the county to offer nutrition education and fresh-grown fruits and vegetables. Session A will be from June 7-July 30, and Session B will be from Aug. 2 – Sept. 24. Fresh on DeK’s purpose is to improve the health of the community, the viability of local produce and to preserve the environment for future generations by providing access to fresh produce and nutritional education programming throughout DeKalb County.

CONYERS, GA—The Rockdale County Sheriff Office is seeking the public’s help in finding Travis Ramon Hamilton, 33, who is wanted in connection with an illegal chop shop operation in Conyers. The Sheriff’s Office issued the Wanted Person alert for Hamilton on May 17. On April 4, deputies responded to a GPS ping alert of a stolen 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat in the area of 3498 Deer Hollow Run.
