Beulah Community Family Life Center, Maximum Impact prepare to serve 2,000 at 14th annual back-to-school bash

DECATUR, GA –Beulah Community Family Life Center and the nonprofit, Maximum Impact Love are preparing to welcome approximately 2,000 attendees—their biggest-ever crowd—to a day filled with excitement at their 14^th Annual Balanced Life Expo & Back-to-School Bash. 

This free, community-wide celebration will take place on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church campus, 2340 Clifton Springs Road, Decatur.

This year’s event represents a significant expansion, merging the health and wellness focus of the Balanced Life Expo with the high-energy evangelism and family entertainment provided by Maximum Impact Love. Organizers say together, these two initiatives will transform the Beulah campus into a vibrant community destination designed to minister to the “whole person”—spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.

The Rev. Jerry D. Black, senior pastor of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, PhD, said the upcoming event brings together two impactful outreach initiatives. 

“The result is a dynamic, family-friendly environment designed to connect DeKalb County residents with vital wellness, education, and community resources,” said Rev. Black, noting that the collaboration between Beulah’s Evangelism Ministry and Maximum Impact Love marks a 14-year history. 

There will be an array of  activities and resources for families and their children, as well as other community members and attendees are encouraged to register ahead: 

• Entertainment:A large concert stage and music.
• Activities:A children’s play area with inflatables and bouncy houses, and even horse rides
• Free food:Stations featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, and other refreshments
• Back-to-School Supplies:Book bags filled with school supplies
• Health screenings
• Fitness demonstrations
• Financial wellness resources
• Voter and election information
• Senior resources at Beulah Community Family Life Center
