Industry leaders to discuss multi-mobility plan for Stonecrest
The City of Stonecrest will host a virtual Transportation Summit on Thursday, May 14, 6 to 7:30 p.m. via Zoom.
The city’s Transportation Master Plan will be presented. The Master Plan includes needs assessment data and recommendations to improve mobility choices such as walking, biking, public transit, and auto transportation in and around the City of Stonecrest.
This “Project Share” emphasis will make certain that as the City of Stonecrest moves forward with the development of the plan, all projects, and priorities in the City and those that connect to the region are considered.
“For the first time in 20 years, a transportation study that specifically focuses on the transportation needs for this region of DeKalb County is being developed,” Said Jason Lary, Mayor City of Stonecrest, “the Transportation Master Plan will prepare the City of Stonecrest for residential growth, and the development of new and promising industries that will drive economic development in Stonecrest, DeKalb County, and the State of Georgia.”
